COVID-19 – safe delivery
It is a challenging time for all of us. Here at California Wine Denmark we are continuing to do business by delivery only. We are doing our utmost to ensure the safety of our wines and coworkers. We are following specific guidelines, such as:
- Desanitizing during packing for delivery
- Desanitizing during delivery
- Delivery to your door without direct customer contact (no pickup at shops)
- No customer signature at delivery
As an added thank-you to our customers, we are currently offering domestic delivery to your door for only DKK49 as well as free domestic delivery on orders over DKK500.
California Wine Denmark is committed to offering great wines at fair prices – from the outset. For this reason, you will not find wines at greatly discounted prices here. Please note that all prices are including 25% mandatory Danish VAT (moms) and are listed per 750 ml bottle, unless otherwise specified.
You can save the 25% VAT included in our prices if you are a business purchasing our wines from within the EU. You will have to be registered as a business (with a local VAT number) in that country.
We also ship to countries outside of the EU, such as Switzerland. Our non-EU customers do not pay the 25% Danish VAT, but are liable to pay import duty and taxes in their country. The VAT will automatically be deducted from the price. Please contact us for more details.

We accept all major credit cards, bank transfer, the Danish debit card Dankort as well as PayPal and MobilePay.
Shipping, Delivery & Pickup
We ship to all of Denmark, Europe and most of the world. We offer competitive shipping rates, which vary according to destination. For Denmark, we offer flat shipping rates:
Free domestic shipping for purchases over DKK 1,000
Shipping up to DKK 1,000: 75,-
If you encounter an issue with shipping options during the checkout process, please contact us.
We are happy to accept a return within 14 days of purchase. You may exchange your wine for another bottle or receive a full refund. Please contact us before making a return, and please show your receipt. The wine must be in the same condition as at the time of sale.
We will gladly replace any defective wines or issue a refund. Please return it to us with proof of purchase. We will be happy to replace, refund, or recommend another wine we think you’ll love.
