Nicora Wines is the sweat and blood of a midwestern farm boy destined to take over his father’s generations-old store, but instead opting to set out to The Golden State to create his own destiny with only a few dollars in his pocket. Taken under the wing of Torrin’s legendary winemaker Scott Hawley, Nick Elliott worked for a few bins of fruit and released his first vintage in 2009, which blew us – and Robert Parker! – away.
With a high-end tasting room in Tin City and limited-release wine tastings from the top vineyards in Paso Robles and beyond, Nick has certainly worked hard to make his dream come true.
