Chemical engineer-turned-winemaker Justin and his wife Beth Harmon oversee every aspect of Argot — from the vineyard, to the winery, to the bottle and all things in between. They are proud to be a first-generation winery, producing some of the most beautifully balanced wines in California. Argot’s microproduction of a few hundred cases of each wine has been featured and lauded in numerous wine magazines, such as Wine Spectator, Decanter and The Wine Advocate.
The brand name Argot is a word of latin origin; a language that develops from intimacy, like-mindedness and mutual respect—family, friends, co-workers, the people we drink wine with … and so on. Each group has its own Argot, unique to its members, that creates a meaningful and lasting connection for those who share it.
