NAPA VALLEY

Napa Valley, about an hour’s drive north of San Francisco, is the epitome of American viticulture. Although Napa is the best known wine region in the US, under 5% of California wine is actually produced in Napa Valley.

The region is home to some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay in the world and became famous in the 1976 Paris Tasting, when Stag’s Leap’s Cabernet Sauvignon and Chateau Montelena’s Chardonnay (by winemaker Mike Grgich) were voted the best wines in a blind tasting against the top French wine producers.

Along highway 29 you’ll find glitzy wineries side by side, however, our focus is on the hidden gems, diamonds in the making and small family producers. We are proud to have a close relationship with the wineries we represent and we are passionate about the families that work so hard to make the best wines.
